Okay, this is the last time this year I’m going to bother you with balls. Here’s a collection of golden balls.
Golden balls
This image has been shot using 2 flashes: one flash under the vase at 1/16, aimed towards the background. Light spill upwards created the light on the bottom of the vase. The second light, camera left was set to 1/4. It was snooted and aimed at 2 pieces of paper (A4) taped together at the short end to create a strip light. Some light spill created by the snoot and the table created some additional highlights and shadows on the background. Because I liked them, I didn’t eliminating them, but moved them a little and incorporated them. This resulted in the image above.
