Another windmill

I noticed this windmill when I was again on the road to Kinderdijk. At first I tried to get to another bridge to shoot from a larger distance to include the bridge and windmill but couldn’t get there. Well, at least not without quite a hike meaning I would be late for my appointment. So I got to where I could and looked around and thought this would create a nice framing element with the dark ice and bridge.

    Lots of ice skating has been going on there.

      ice was horrible but yeah, lots of skating, “de molentocht” passes here. I even took a few shots from 2 guys who were inspecting the ice for the tour. They were too far away to get anything interesting though.

        That figures… De Molentocht. I would be really surprised if I saw the 7 hills tour pass by :)
